Fyrestock by Shutterstock is a tongue-in-cheek video poking fun at 2017’s scam festival Fyre Festival. A nonsensical promo video was used to attract influencers and guests to a festival on an idyllic island that was never going to happen.
Shuttershock created a very similar version of the promo video using $2,000 worth of stock video from their website, showing people that high-end video can be created on a small budget.

Shutterstock did two great things with this video. They managed to quickly respond to a big news story and went viral with over 2 million views in the first week. They also managed to show viewers the quality and depth of content available on their site without being sales-heavy.
