Objective
Parchment is the quarterly magazine for members of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Associate. It is a source of information and entertainment for members and associated legal interest groups including judges and legal professionals on the mailing list.

With a history spanning longer than eight decades, the DSBA tasked 256 with redesigning the magazine to give it a more contemporary, polished aesthetic to fit with the modern publishing landscape.

Solution
256’s designers worked closely with the client to relaunch Parchment. We focused on a clean and contemporary design that utilised white space and striking colours. The design introduced symbolic imagery and an updated font and logo to refresh the magazine’s old-fashioned feel. Custom photography was introduced to showcase the many exclusive interviewees the magazine attracted. 256 also developed a digital interactive version of the publication for its website.
